Earth Strike is a grassroots movement made up of trade unionists, climate activists, youth and community organisers, committed to challenge the root causes of the climate crisis and to fight for a better future for the global working class. To achieve climate justice we must disrupt and end the capitalist system.
How do we intend to disrupt the system?
A global general strike!
In this talk we will present our strategy for avoiding total catastrophe, and discuss why strike action and ultimately a general strike are necessary for achieving climate justice, and crucially what we need to do to make that happen.
